It has been five long months since the Dreamliner left the skies, and Air New Zealand marked the occasion with a festive celebration, joyously celebrating the occasion with the anticipation of reuniting with the tropical island. 1. Air New Zealand Marks Historic Return to Bali The name ‘Bali’ brings forth images of white sand beaches, crystal blue waters, and a unique culture – it’s no wonder Air New Zealand is so excited to mark their return to this amazing destination! Travellers from New Zealand will now be able to experience the wonders of Bali once more with its direct flight from Auckland to Denpasar. Air New Zealand’s decision to fly again to Bali marks a benchmark in the nation’s recovery from the devastating pandemic: A safe and reliable way to reach a beloved destination More exotic holiday destinations made more accessible The beginning of a new era of exploration and connection For New Zealanders, Air New Zealand’s return to Bali symbolises a brighter future on the horizon. A future filled with more opportunities to experience the fascinating culture, beautiful landscapes, and the memorable people of Bali! 2. An Unforgettable Flight Aboard the 787 Dreamliner Taking the 787 Dreamliner for my first long-distance flight was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I stepped on board to the time I disembarked, it felt like I was being pampered and truly taken care of. The plane came with all the comfort and convenience I could ask for, including: A spacious cabin with large windows and ambient lighting for a homey feeling. In-seat charging for my laptop, so I could work on my projects even in the air. A quiet cabin, with the level of sound similar to just background noise. The Dreamliner also had plenty of room to stretch and move around in, not only between the copious seats but also the aisles and pantry section. All in all, taking the 787 Dreamliner was one of the most pleasant flight experiences I’ve ever had. 3. Celebrations Highlight New Zeland’s Links with Indonesia Despite the geographical distance, New Zealand and Indonesia have strong ties which have been further strengthened in recent years by several events, held in each nation. Two of the most recent celebrations aim to bring the two countries closer, building valuable cultural and economic bridges. Jakarta Fashion Week: The Indonesian capital recently hosted New Zealand Fashion Week as a nod to the flourishing relationship between the nations. Models wearing the best designs from New Zealand’s renowned designers walked the runway, wowing the appreciative audience. Kiwi Fair: This year’s edition of the beloved fair offered a chance for indonesians to learn more about their New Zealand counterparts. Delicious regional cuisine, charming crafts, and exciting entertainment were enjoyed by thousands. These events have played an important role in increasing the level of collaboration between Indonesia and New Zealand, bringing the nations closer together. Thanks to them, the ties between these two countries seem more solid than ever. 4. Commemorating a Special Occasion for Both Countries Achieving the Common Goal The recognition of any special occasion between two countries is important in order to signify their shared desire to build a strong, beneficial relationship. When a nation celebrates a nation-special event with another, it can recognize the common goals between the two countries. When both countries come together to achieve a mutual goal of materialization, it strengthens their bond further in a constructive way. Celebrating shared objectives When commemorating important occasions, it shows that the two nations have reached a common understanding and have come to an agreement. Special occasions between nations can aim to celebrate: political solidarity cooperation of shared interests reciprocal gratitude recognition of common objectives These shared objectives can be a great way to build and maintain a productive relationship, being beneficial for both nations in the long run. Air New Zealand is proud to take you on a journey back to Bali.
